OPERATION SANTA PAWS' 2K/5K "STRUT FOR PUPS"
In conjunction with the DVD/Blu-ray Disc release of Disney's hit family film "The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause," the pup strut will benefit local dog rescues and shelters this holiday season. Join us on Sun., Nov. 18th at 8 a.m. at the start/finish line on the beach bike path @ the Granada Ave. boat launch ramp, for this exciting media event. Dress like Santa or his elf and participate in a costume contest to win a Disney Home Entertainment library and take a leisurely walk or jog with or without your dog on the very flat, scenic beach bike path. Professional race clock, t-shirts and collectible Santa hats for all registrants. Santa will start the 2k/5k and all registrants will receive a free photo of Santa and their pup following the pup strut. Entertainment, refreshments, interactive doggie activities and much, much more await you at the finish line festival. $20/per human when you register in advance with Active.com or $25 at the event. No charge for dogs. Free to spectate.
