The governor and the Legislature agreed to a budget that increases funding for ocean protection 10-fold. We can now afford to create these national park-like sanctuaries off our coast.
Unfortunately, now that there is money to fund the program, opponents are making a last ditch effort to convince the Fish and Game Commission to support a much weaker program that offers little real protection.
Ask the Fish and Game Commission to support the strongest protection plan possible. Then ask your family and friends to do the same by forwarding this message to them.
