The project will cost $130 million, and officials hope to complete the five-story building by early 2009. The tower will have 152,000 square feet. The first floor will have a 28-bed emergency room and an 18-bed observation unit. Two new intensive-care units, with 10 beds each, will be on the second floor, along with a new pharmacy.
