Azusa reduces legal fireworks curfew
"Safe and Sane" fireworks will be allowed from noon until midnight on Independence Day south of Sierra Madre Avenue. Those violating the law or shooting off illegal fireworks will be fined $250 the first time and $500 each subsequent time.
Azusa has a love-hate relationship with fireworks. They are one of the few cities that allow them.
