Experts forecast growth crisis for ValleyI think that it is this demand that should push for the redevelopment of properties in Azusa that need to be redeveloped. It is a good thing that the Gold Line will be coming but I think that more alternative mass transit options will be needed as the valley keeps growing. We need to find ways to reduce the need to use cars on the street. If we don't, we could end up with streets that are as busy as West LA. I think that more bike trails should be added along the major streets in Azusa, including East to West Foothill, East to West Arrow Highway, and North and South on San Gabriel. The bike routes make is safer for the bikers, especially on the busy streets. We should be able to bike to the downtown safely. And the new shopping center that will be built behind Costco, it is probably possible to bike to as well using the existing bike trail. I have not tried it yet, but it goes in that direction.
