ANGELES NATIONAL FOREST -- The U.S. Forest Service will hold a firewood sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in the Angeles National Forest above Azusa. The pine wood has been cut into 20-inch lengths. It will sell for $35 per cord.
To get to the sale take Azusa Avenue north off the Foothill (210) Freeway in Azusa. Drive north into the forest for 15 miles. For more information call (626) 335-1251.
