I noticed where the horses are located at the beginning of San Gabriel Cyn. they fenced off the horses so they can not use the remaining triangle of the property. Is the city going to use this land to improve the entrance into the canyon? I hope so. Please let me know.

I have no idea what they are doing with that property. It is owned by Christina Madrid's family. Before her term as Mayor ended, she tried to get the property rezoned for apartments. The city refused.
I found the attempt to change the zoning rather hypocritical of her. She complained about the density of new housing projects yet when it came to her family's property, she wanted to change the zoning to allow a much higher density.
Her family has had a history of tearing down beautiful old homes and replacing them with ugly apartment buildings. Now, we have to find a way to redevelop these properites into something nicer that will result in a nicer looking city and lower crime rates.
