Entertainers wanted for Golden Days event
AZUSA --Volunteer entertainers are needed for the Azusa Golden Days Carnival, planned for Oct. 7-9 at Memorial Park Recreation Center.
Musical groups with special talents in rock 'n' roll, oldies and Latin salsa are being asked to donate their services between 5 and 10 p.m. on Oct 7; noon to 10 p.m. Oct. 8; and noon to 9 p.m. Oct. 9.
Azusa Golden Days Carnival Volunteer Entertainment Interest Forms can be picked up at the Azusa Recreation and Family Services Department, 320 N. Orange Place, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
The carnival committee is also accepting applications for Azusa nonprofit community groups that want to operate food, game, novelty, craft or general information booths.
The deadline for nonprofit applications is Sept. 29.
