Details: Assembly Bill 654, the California Compassionate Choice Act, if passed, would allow competent people with less than six months to live to end their own lives with a lethal dose of prescribed medication. The forum includes a representative from the office of Assemblyman Lloyd Levine, D-Van Nuys, who co-sponsored the measure with Assemblywoman Patty Berg, D-Eureka.
