If anybody has a pool. How do you drain the water? I want to bring the water down in the pool.

Usually the filtration system will have a backwash valve with a drainage spout that you can attach a pool hose to, to direct the water toward in a suitable location (like toward the street gutter, etc.). Instead of the water flowing back into your pool, it goes out the hose. A pool supply store like Leslie's should be able to answer this in better detail for you, especially if they're about to sell you more pool hose to accomplish this.
