The new Forest Gateway Interpretive Center is scheduled to be built this Spring, accross from Mountain Cove (where the current forest info. booth is).
Donor plates are available for $200 each. They will be placed on benches, fountains, and trash recepticals. The money will be used for planting and maintenance of the grove.
I thought that it would be nice if we could have a plate from the "Residents of Mountain Cove" or possibly from a specific street, for example "Residents of Mountain Laurel Way."
I'm not sure how we could set this up. For example if we get more than $200 in donations, do we return the extra money or do we start working on another donation plate? Any suggestions?
I'm already getting my own plate but would be happy to contribute to one for Mountain Cove or the street that we live on.
If you want to get your own plate, you can fill out an application at the Azusa Recreation and Family Services Department, 320 N Orange Place. 626-812-5220
