I think it's sad  that I live in a gated community and my partner and I can't have our own political views. Unfortunately, somebody went to a lot of trouble to take our Kerry/Edwards signs down from our yard & pull off the bumper sticker from our truck window!!If it was somebody who lives in Mountain Cove, please STAY OFF our property!!!  |

That's disgusting behavior. I'm terribly sorry that some idiot destroyed your signs. It is simply not civilized.
That is why I've put our Bush/Cheney stickers behind our windshields and in our window instead of in the yard.

I'm sorry to hear that it happened to you. When I was driving to Glendora today, I noticed a Kerry sign in front of a house on Sierra Madre. On my way back, it was gone. So it looks like it is happening all over the place. I don't understand what these people are thinking? Do they believe that someone will not vote because they remove the sign?

Yeah! This sucks!!! Some couple was walking there dog last night and they let it shit all over my lawn!! I watched the whole thing ! They were just talking and laughing and then they just left it sitting there, steaming! We need to put a stop to all of this! STAY OFF OF OUR PROPERTY!!!!!!!

Do I understand you correctly? You watched as two people allowed their dog to shit on your property but you didn't have the guts to go outside with a paper towel, hand it to them, and tell them to pick it up? If you watched and didn't say anything to them, then you are as much at fault as they were.

But, my response to Lee is ; I guess I just don't want to create conflict! Why would I want to pick up someone elses dogshit with a paper towel? My gardeners lawnmower will pick it up much easier, without all the hassle! I mean would you like to pick up someone elses dogshit for them? OK it's totally obvious that there's one or more, well probably just one, person on here who's trying to be harrassing or distracting from the real discussion.
I know on the ''Azusa Online'' boards, they just had a problem with someone doing the same thing. They announced that they removed the posts and banned the IP-address of the user who was putting up the offensive material. Can't the same be done here? Seeing the timing and all, I bet it's even the same person doing it!
It's becoming pointless to participate here if we have to sift through total garbage (i.e. murder in the lodge pool, gratuitous use of ''dog you-know-what'') Heated or intense discussion is one thing, but people who are just here to harrass or insult others shouldn't have the privilege to participate.

Sorry, you misunderstood what I was saying. Hand them the paper towel and tell them to pick up the dog doo! Didn't expect or want you to pick it up! We had this same problem in the neighborhood where we used to live; one family who walked their dog at night and let it poop in neighbors' yards. We all started watching for them and as soon as their dog would start to poop, the property owner would walk out and hand them either a paper towel or plastic bag and ask them nicely to pick up after their own dog. It didn't take long for them to get the idea and soon they were carrying a pooper scooper and plastic bag with them! Good luck!

Dear Lee, I see what youre saying, I am Just getting so frustrated with these lazy dog owners that cant take responsibility for there pets! Hopefully next time they allow there dog to poop on my lawn then I will hand them a napkin or paper towel without saying a word! Thanks Lee!
