Going rate for a sitter

Hi Everyone! I was just writing to get input on the going rate for babysitters in the neighborhood. I posted an add a few weeks ago stating that my rate was $13-15 and hour. However, I only recieved a few inquiries. I was wondering if my rate could be the problem. I am definitely willing to negotiage my rates, but need it to be worth my time. I am not from around the area and I was just basing my pay from where I am from as well as the offers I have recieved in the monrovia and pasadena areas,. Let me know what you think and if you are interested in a sitter, please let me know. I'm looking for something tuesday and thursday morning and wednesday afternoon. I am willing to split between families, just wanting to fill my schedule! Thanks so much!
