"Mountain Cove Peak"

The mountain peak behind Mountain Cove is simply called Summit 2843. I found this from the website below. I do not know who Dan Simpson is but it is obvious he does a lot of hiking in the mountains near Azusa. If you go to his site you will note he has suggested that Summit 2843 have a name and one of his thoughts would be to name it Mountain Cove Peak. I think that is a great idea!! I wonder how this could be done?
For a great view of Mountain Cove from Summit 2843, go to the site below and look at the picture contained in the "Trail Description" caption. You will notice a link that says "great views of the canyon mouth." Click that and take a look. I think you will like it.
Now, how do we change the name to "Mountain Cove" peak?

I have spoken to this guy, Dan Simpson before. He is a very avid hiker and knows a *lot* about hiking, trails, access, etc. in the San Gabriels. When I spoke to him I asked if he would ever be interested in coming to the MC Lodge to speak about great hiking spots, caring for the wilderness, safety, etc. he said he would be pleased to do this.

Let me know if anyone would be interested in this and I'd be happy to contact him and help set it up.

Has anyone been to Garcia's Trail since the construction stated at the Rosedale project.If so how do we access it? Any info would be great.
