I could not help but notice the new flyers appearing in our mailboxes supporting our incumbents who will be most likely voted out of office next tuesday, March 6th. The closer the election gets, it appears the more desperate candidates and their supporters become. I can't wait 'til this election is over. The latest Chagnon mailer was very similar to the first Rocha mailer with all the pictures of the citizens of Azusa supporting their candidate. It is said that the sincerest form of flattery is imitation. ;D

The interesting thing is that Mrs Chagnon's camp is saying that she hired a very expensive, and prestigious campaing manager from La Verne to help her clean up her image. Is that the best they could do? To copy Mr. Rocha's flyer? Really....I think she needs to get her money back!! Also....I've heard a lot of people complaining that Mr. Rocha's signs are being pulled off their yards and places of business without their permission. Between that and that poorly written flyer that was circulated here at the cove yesterday....makes you wonder.....Did she hire a bunch of 7th graders? (no offense to the actual kids in 7th grade...I'm sure the kids are much smarter)

The last mailer I received from Chagnon and Carrillo was another joke. An enviromental company seemed to tout these two for their enviromental sensitivity. Pleeease!!!
She is claiming that she wants the mountains reclaimed. However, she is well aware that Vulcan has made it very clear that they will not do ANY reclamation unless they get the additional 80 acres to mine. They want to strong arm us.
Also, the funny thing is that this enviromental organization has a family member of a well known Chagnon supporter on the board. This supporter of Mrs Chagnon is gentleman who stands to make huge amounts of money in the development of hill side property. I'm sure Mrs Chagnon's position on the council would help him in his endevour. Don't you think?
