They definitely have mine too!
I was really shocked to see Mrs. Chagnon's most recent mailer. It seems she is in major "damage control" mode.
She now claims to be against the mining expansion.
What???Does she think we're senile???
On two separate occasions she came to the lodge with Vulcan and they made it very clear to everyone in attendance that the only way we were going to get any reclamation was if the city gave up the additional 80 acres.
No Way!!!
Vulcan and Chagnon have had plenty of time to show some good faith by reclaiming the existing scar on our mountains. Vulcan has made billions of dollars on the destruction of our mountain. What did the residents get? A scar on our mountains and dust in our homes and in our lungs….and now they want more mountain to mine before they fix the damage they did?? Enough is enough!!
And as far as the overnight parking..... didn’t she propose that up until the people revolted? then did a quick patch job by suggesting that individual neighborhoods decide?
If that wasn't enough, she takes credit for the "letter of intent" from target that she instructed the rest of the council not to disclose. If I remember correctly, the same thing happened last election with Albertson’s. Well…we still don’t have a grocery store!
To top it off she also claims that she holds developers accountable?.....maybe to her own pocket book!!!
The contributions she's taken from them speak for themselves, as do the many parks in Rosedale, which will not have bathrooms.
Please.....don't insult the resident's intelligence

Very nice letters. I agree 100%, especially with the first one.
