Glendora bonding
On a recent Thursday, Bob Kuhn held a fundraiser for three Glendora councilmen running for re-election, Doug Tessitor, Gary Clifford and Ken Herman, with the announced goal of raising $50,000.
This is the same Bob Kuhn that worked for a developer and put the golf course swap on the ballot in Glendora. That initiative cost Glendorans hundreds of thousands of dollars and considerable time and effort to defeat it.
The same campaign manager that Kuhn and the developer used for the golf course swap initiative, Rick Davis, is the same person who represented Tessitor, Clifford and Herman. What a coincidence.
The golf course swap is not a dead issue and may soon be back. Hundreds of acres of land owned by that developer are going to come before the city council for critical decisions.
Is it any coincidence that Kuhn, who was instrumental in putting these councilmen in office, now wants to raise $50,000 for them to keep them there?
Is it also important that none of these councilmen criticized Kuhn publicly for putting the golf course swap on the ballot? The four of them are very close friends.
Glendorans should consider carefully who they put in office in March.
