Hello neighbors! I would like to let everyone know that there will be a meet and greet at the lodge on February 25th. for Mr. Eddie Alvarez from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. We had a great turnout for the candidates forum but it seemed to go by too fast, with alot of rebuttals. Come on down and say hello, and see for yourself why he'll make a great councilman for the City of Azusa.

I was present at the debates held in the Lodge. It was great to see so many of my neighbors there. I have to say Eddie Alvarez's stock rose in my opinion (as did Macias's). I will make an effort to be there and meet with Mr. Alvarez. I can see he has the makings of a good councilmember.

I have known Eddie personally for 20 years. I used to tease him about Baldwin Park being a better place to live than Azusa. So I moved out of Baldwin Park and was fortunate enough to buy here in Mountain Cove before the market shot up. Now he teases me! Eddie is a man of principal, integrity, he is a great husband, dad friend, and a veteran. He's involved with the city's youth and senior citizens. He has alot of experience that he can bring to the table. Eddie has also been an auditor at the Local, State and currently at the Federal level. He understands fiscal responsibility and checks and balances. Eddie also believes in responsible growth. Azusa stands to grow quite a bit in a short period of time and we need a council that can look out for everyones best interest, like the people that put them there. He's very outspoken about the issues involving Vulcan Materials, and health hazards they pose. Have we all not looked out across our scarred mountainside and noticed the dust? Vulcan wants to mine an additional 80 acres. All this and more make Eddie an outstanding candidate and choice.
