Francis, Just hired a cabinetmaker for custom built-in. Expect the first project to be finished by June 19th. Will allow you to view the work if you wish. It was hard to find someone.

I had a custom wall unit completed by Ignacio Hernandez. He can be reached at 626-488-2315. I am pleased with the work he has completed and recommend his services. We found that the best approach to getting what you want is making a drawing and having pictures of specific features you like. He can then diagram the space and adjust the dimensions. His english isn't strong but his work spoke for itself. After years of working for a contractor he has struck out on his own and is hungry for work. If you would like to see a photo please email me and the address is listed under members.
