If you look at the statistics of how many square feet of retail and commercial space we have per capita, it shows that we have over built. Being that there is so much space, that makes it very competitive in turning an area to be successful.
Some rules that I think may help:
- people like convenience
- people generally run to beauty. Make sure that everything added has some form of artistic unique integrity. One that will look beautiful today, tomorrow, and in the future.
- develop an area that specializes in something that none of the other cities in the area specialize in that can bring in a large enough draw to bring people from all over the valley to this area to spend money.
