I have heard that the prices of homes in the city of Azusa have dropped more that other neighboring cities. Part of the problem is with the school issue. Another big problem is the Rosedale development. The main developer has gone under and there is no sign that the development will be finished. People don't want to buy in a development with no sign of completion and the city will not allow builders to develop just parts of it. They insist on one big developer. And so far, there have not been any developers that are interested in taking on something so large because of the economy. What a mess that is. It seems like we have problem finding buyers willing to pay more in the Cove but when they do the appraisals and compare it with rosedale, the banks wont accept them. 1. Rosedale needs to come up with a solution to be completed. Some builders have shown interested in developing parts of it. 2. It would be great if we could have our own zip code so that when they compare prices by zip code, only Mountain Cove comes up. There are buildings with their own zip code. I don't see why Mountain Cove can't have its own. Many cities have several zip codes. Glendora has 2. Municipalities can apply to the USPS for a new zip code once every 10 years. www.usps.com/ncsc/ziplookup/contactinfo.htm3. It would be great if we could change the school district of the Cove so that we don't ever have to worry about about the possibility of having to send our children to one of the worst school districts in the State/Country.

I wonder if the city's redevelopment agency can take over the project and find the developers to take over the various projects. Just doing nothing about it is really not the answer.

I agree with you, it would be nice if we could separate ourselves from Azusa zip code, and maybe have our neighbors care more about their homes. Maybe the association should start going after home owners who refuse to fallow the HOA, such as cleaning up the front, not park cars on the grass, not park cars on the side walk, and clean up their property.
I love where I live, but I do see many irresponsible homeowners who don’t care about our community……….How can we force the HOA to force these people to fix their homes?
