How irresponsible can people be?
Friday afternoon I walked my dog as many of us do every day, most of us who own our homes pick up after our dogs, and tell our kids to not trash our community. But not all of us, I know of one home that is rented to a family that has a young man living there who is doing his part to destroy our community.
Friday afternoon I walked my dog out for the last time, I saw this young man parked on the corner of Brookside Way and Sandstone Way, I have seen him before sitting on the two benches with his friends smoking and drinking early in the morning on Saturdays. Well this past Saturday as I always do I walked my dog and I was discussed to see two condoms, the wrappers and a paper bag with a bottle inside, I am sure it was not a water bottle but I didn’t look. Some one picked up the bag with the bottle but the condoms are still there, DISCUSTING!
I called the association this morning and was told that there is nothing they can do, it is all up to the parents of these hoodlums, I was told that it is a moral issue and there is nothing they can do. I was told to call the police and or 888-973-2266 and report it. I have seen this kid and his friends at our pool smoking, drinking and throwing the chairs in the pool, I have spoken to them but they see me and just laugh.
What can we do? I see many kids playing in our community who feel safe, but are they? What if these young kids run into these dirty condoms and pick them up thinking they are balloons? Will this make all of us stand up for our community?
What should we do?
