This morning my wife called me and told me that her father, who lives with us, was sitting in his bedroom and saw a mountain lion in our backyard. We did find footprints which were not our dogs and much larger than what our dogs would leave.
After calling the Forestry Service, they stated they are seeing both Mountain Lions and coyotes demostrating this type of behaviour. The Forestry Service stated they are contacting Fish and Game who will then contact us for further details.
