Dear Mountain Cove Neighbors,
I have been living in our Mountain Cove community as of 2003; I never took the time to enjoy the beauty of our community, from our walking path around our community to the playground and pool.
About two months ago I committed myself to helping my Ret Marine with his dog while he attends the academy, so I have been walking my son’s dog in the morning and in the afternoon every day for almost two months. In this time I have met several of my neighbors who also enjoy our community and enjoy walking their dogs, but I have also seen many who most likely are not residents in our community so in turn they don’t take care of it. They don’t care what littering, and not caring for our property does to out property values.
I have called Euclid Management several times to complain, but nothing comes of it, now I am reaching out to my neighbors to keep our community clean, and to help our property values stop from dropping more then they’ve already dropped.
As many of you may have noticed Euclid Management hired a company to paint our fences, what many of you may not have seen is that the workers have left behind glass/plastic soda/tea containers/ white tape, sanitary plastic gloves, and much more garbage around our walking path. I’ve called the association and was told that Lorena Vasquez e-mailed the painting company to inform them of this, I was also told that it would help if we called the painting company and complained, I was puzzled because this company was hired by the association not us. In any case here is the telephone number so we can all call, 800-799-6499.
I also ask the association how often our community is cleaned up, garbage pick up, bathroom cleaned, and pool area cleaned. I was told that we did not have that type of service, but that the landscaping company most likely cleans up.
What can we do? Our community belongs go us, we all pay our monthly dues to Euclid Management, but there is only so much they can do. What can we do? Should we have a cleaning day where all of us clean up? Should we have the association take care of this? What about our pool area? The bathrooms? What can we all do?
I for one will call the association every day if necessary, I will call the painting company, I will report all of those who litter, I will repost broken sprinklers, and I will pick up after myself and my dog.
