Can Cell Phone Open Front Gate?

We use our land line very little and are considering going to cell phones only. But, with multiple cell phones in the family, how do we set it up to have the front gate opened by a cell phone, since the number to call would vary, depending on who is home at the time.

Any success in doing this?
