Around the Valley Article Launched: 04/27/2008 12:46:19 AM PDT Azusa to test emergency siren AZUSA - The city will be holding a test of its early warning siren Monday, officials said. The test will be carried out between 6:30 and 7:30 p.m., Emergency Services Coordinator Olga Bruno said in a written release. The siren, which is located off of Highway 39 near the U.S. Forest entry station, will be sounded in intervals for about 10 minutes. The Office of Emergency Services reminds resident not to call 9-1-1 during the test. In a real emergency, emergency vehicles and personnel would be seen evacuating the area, Bruno said. The test is being coordinated by the Office of Emergency Services and the Azusa Amateur Radio Team. www.whittierdailynews.com/news/ci_9071582

I thought that there was going to be a siren test. I did not hear anything. I guess they canceled it or I just did not hear it.
