Some cowards have defaced our public and private property again... this time in the Cove too. Their path goes from Azusa Ave and Sierra Madre, north all the way to the Cove bridges. Unbelievable - where are there parents? Absent, no doubt.
I called City of Azusa's graffiti hotline and it only allowed me to record 10 seconds per message!! So frustrating. I called back (812-5200) and got transferred to the public service office. They said it will take one to two weeks to remove the graffiti because of the damage they are working on from the winds. In case you are wondering where - look at the "Azusa" sign that's in the median on north Azusa Ave. above Sierra Madre. Looks like trash now.
I urge you to please put the City's phone number in your cell phones and call them until this graffiti is removed on Azusa Ave.
Also, please put Euclid Management's phone number (339-4934) in your cell and call them until the bridge is cleaned. Not painted over - power washed. If we start allowing them to just paint over graffiti on Mtn Cove property it's going to look just as bad as the graffiti itself.

Between the graffiti and the Mountain Cove residents who refuse to park their cars in their driveways, not to mention those who bring in boats and RV's, Mountain Cove isn't looking so great. What is up with that structure in front of the entry gate that is taking 3+ months to complete? Where is the project management at Euclid "Management?"
I wonder if the Mountain Cove residents who bring in their boats and rv's or park overnight on the streets so they can pile more junk in their garage are also victims of having absent parents?

I think Mountain Cove is looking pretty darn good. Yes, there are a few minor issues; however, it is always so nice to come home to. As far as graffiti? I have not seen any in our community.

Well, I admit I look pretty hard for these types of things - it's only because I want the MC to be a great place to live - I can't help it! The graffiti was on the Exit bridge - the one further up from the main entrance. A bunch of spray paint on the cement out by the Hwy 39 side and then one large word, slogan, or whatever it is, on the cement walls on the Cove side of the bridge.
Euclid has cleaned it up now.
