Hi, I'm currently a Cingular subscriber, and the coverage is terrible at home. I'm getting basically no coverage, except sometimes on the second floor. Anyone in the Mountain Cove using other provider like Verizon or T-Mobile that has good coverage in the Cove? Any information is helpful.
I'm thinking about changing to Verizon because they seem to have better coverage, and especially with the proposed new cell site as reported by someone. I would love to hear anyone's opinion.
Thanks.

Verizon works the best here in my experience. Even the phone matters. I just got the Motorola E815 model and it made an improvement over my old Samsung phone.
Cingular and T-mobile don't work that great.
Verizon is supposed to have a tower up, but just like everything else in Azusa, it's taking forever.

Hey, thanks for the reply.
Ya, someone else has told me that T-mobile doesn't work in the Cove either.
With your Verizon wireless, do you get good enough signal strength that you're able to talk anywhere in the house?
I think I'll be signing with Verizon once my contract is up with Cingular in October.

THe reception is very spotty and varies from street to street. I live at the end of Silver Forest, and there are a couple places in the house where I get good enough signal to chat. However, if I move even a bit, then it breaks up. Some of the rooms in my house, including my bedroom, I can get up to 3 bars if the phone is lying on the table. Usually I leave it there and then it will ring if someone is calling me. I'm thinking about getting the bluetooth wireless headset so I can leave the phone on the table and walk around and talk.
Outside on my driveway, I can get good enough reception to talk on the phone. However, I noticed that some places my phone doesn't work at all, like, for example near the park and lodge.
Once place where most carriers seems to work excellent is up the trail on the way to the water tower, but who wants to walk there everytime you need to use your cell phone!

I recently got the new Nokia 6102 (flip phone), using the Cingular service. I have found the reception on the phone to be pretty good. I'm still able to keep a connection even when I go around the bend and over the bridge. I guess I don't need the cell phone tower any more.
