Let's get one of these in Azusa. It would be nice to have a burger joint that I would actually be willing to go to.

WHITTIER - Red Robin is poised to land in Whittier, bringing more than 100 jobs and a family-friendly attitude.
"We think Whittier is a great, growing community, a great fit for our family-friendly concept," said Annette Miller, senior manager of brand communications for Red Robin Gourmet Burgers Inc.
The national restaurant chain will open a 6,350-square-foot, 212-seat location at 15610 Whittier Blvd. in mid-June.
For the year 2005, Red Robin's average cash investment for a restaurant of this size was about $2.4million, excluding land and pre-opening costs, according to the company.
Founded in 1969, Red Robin is a casual dining restaurant chain serving burgers, fries, salads, appetizers and other offerings at more than 310 locations.
The Whittier Red Robin is hiring more than 100 employees.
"We look for fun, energetic, upbeat team members," Miller said.
Red Robin celebrates "unbridled acts" of service, she said. For example, a guest once requested a salad dressing that the restaurant did not carry, so a team member ran across the street and bought the dressing at the grocery store, she said.
"It's really just going above and beyond the call of duty," Miller said.
The company is also dedicated to supporting local communities, she said.
"We definitely want to get involved," Miller said. "During our grand opening week of the new Whittier location, we will host a fundraising effort for local charities."
Red Robin's assistant general manager visited the Whittier Chamber of Commerce looking for ways to get involved in the
community, said Lyn Carty, the chamber's executive director.
"It's great for the restaurant and residents that kind of ownership and buy-in is there," she said.
That area is becoming a restaurant row, with many places to dine in or take out food, such as Ruby's Diner, Black Angus, Mimi's Cafe and All Star Pizza. An IHOP restaurant is under construction.
"They're making it a destination place," Miller said.
For employment information, call (800)591-5709 or visit the restaurant at 15610 Whittier Blvd.
