Due to cost overruns, an employee bathroom was removed from the plans, the building size reduced and river rock and decorative beams and braces eliminated at the 1950 San Gabriel Canyon Road location.
Forest Resource Officer Karen Fortus said the original building was beautifully designed and with some simple modifications the proposed project remain good looking and the other things can be added later when the budget permits.
(I think that they should accept donations after the building has been built so that the building can be finished as it was originally designed.)
