City Hall in Motion

Set for August 11 and 25 at Memorial Park. Come-out and share your ideas and opinions with your City Hall representatives. From 5:30 to 6:30 P.M., just before Concerts in the Park.

Here is a great opportunity to express the changes that you would like to see in the city:

-a new library
-a new post office
-a permanant farmers market in the downtown
-a co-op natural foods market
-some entertainment venue - such as a bowling alley, independent movie theater, etc.

I would like to see the lamposts in the downtown repainted to a nicer color. The faded neon color needs to go.

And the mural with the little boy pick pocketing in it needs to go as well.

I think that the downtown needs a softer look to it. It has such a hard edge to it. If you wanted to open a nice business, wouldn't you look for a place that is attractive with a positive forward looking image.
