Everyone that I have ever spoken to in Mountain Cove and the rest of Azusa has expressed that they want to see more retail stores in Azusa. They want to be able to spend their money in Azusa.
If we want to see continued growth of retail and business in this city, we must support the city council when they make decisions to encourage responsible retail growth. This means that we must go to the city council meetings and speak up. If we do not, the small active group of people that are trying to stop it from happening will win.
At the same time, we must disapprove of actions by residents or businesses that attempt to stop responsible development from happening in the city.
I for one will not support a business that attempts to stop or slow down the progress of other businesses coming into this city. The frivolous lawsuits must stop NOW.
I will never step foot into Smart City Grinds if the owner does not drop his lawsuit against the city. And I will encourage others to do the same.
John Moore, owner of Smart City Grinds, I ask you to please drop your lawsuit for the good of Azusa. We don't want to, but we will picket your business and let the residents know that you are hurting this city. We will not just sit by and let you do this to our city.

In order for the Citizens Redevelopment Committee, or whatever we decide to call ourselves, to be successful, we must support business. And I think one of the first things on the agenda should be to support the city council when they encouarge new business and let residents and businesses know that we will be actively fighting against frivilous lawsuits. This needs to be done now. Not later.
When is the first meeting of this group going to be and where?
