Welcome to Port Deptford!
New for the 2008 season, the Faire will offer some grand changes. For starters, we are rolling back the clock a little more this year, portraying Queen Elizabeth I at an earlier point in her reign, merely a few years after her coronation. Additionally, the entire Faire has embraced the concept of a sea port town, Deptford, England (an actual port in England). The Port offers the rare and unusual. Treasures from countries all over the world will be visible as Privateers (with two Swashbuckling themed weekends during the run April 19 & 20, 26 & 27), Chinese Lords, Moroccan dancers, Indian Princesses and other exotics now roam the town along with your regular favorites. Magic, mystery and merriment abound!
