Does anyone know why all of the trees on Foothill are being cut down?  |

I think it has ssomething to do with the redevelopment. The other reason they may be removing the particular trees is that they are lifting the sidewalks. Someone must have ordered the incorrect type of ficus tree. The same tree was planted in downtown LA; where the sidewalks and portions of streets were damaged. I do hope however, that new non-invasive trees are replanted as it appears unattractive now.
