Many thanks to all who attended and contributed to the success of our recent Country Fair. Events like these help to enhance the quality of life in Mountain Cove and make this a unique and wonderful place to network with neighbors, raise children, and simply enjoy the great outdoors!
Of course, such events would not be made possible without the hardworking, benevolent and talented volunteers that we are so fortunate to live among here in MC. So many heartfelt thanks to [listed in no particular order] Susan, Mark D., Julie, Paul, Oscar, Harold, Theresa, Miles, Sunny, Jeric, Deanna, Kristen, Maurice, Maddisen, Gage, Pat, Julia, Damien, Angel and all of the other dedicated members of our committee and community. Without your support, our dear friend Mark Martin's dream of establishing a solid, old fashioned community where residents know each other on a first name basis, look out for each other's children and come together and support one another in both good times and bad, would never be realized.
A very special thanks to Julie Dyer Lopez and her crew for working tirelessly in the kitchen managing food production and distribution. Julie was very kind to give up her time to make the event so enjoyable for others and her sacrifice and hardwork did not go unnoticed. We are exceptionally fortunate to have Julie on our team:-)
Additionally, I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to and for Susan, Kristen, Maurice, Gage and Maddisen for returning on Sunday to restore the outdoor community area to its pre-event beauty. Back breaking work to say the least and I know you were there for hours. Thanks for all that you do!
Finally, while the committee is at present a force to be reckoned with, we would like to encourage others to get involved and make a difference. If you are interested in joining this fun and fantastic committee please send me an email at: hrtorre@yahoo.com I look forward to hearing from you soon!!! Linda de la Torre
