Best posting of all the recent postings on the election. Finally, a posting where I can avoid smelling or stepping on all the bull, and a participants vote contributes to this postings discussion thread. It's about time this bbs returns back to it's roots of sincere, respectable, courteous, and factual discussions, instead of being hijacked by lobbyist forcing their views on everyone else.

Victory for Rocha ...

All I have to say is... what a shameful voter turnout. If I'm reading this correctly on the results website 3300+ people total voted for the Mayoral slot (out of a city of 45,000+ people).

Well congratulations to Mr. Rocha (Mayor Rocha!!) What a kind and wonderful man!! I do believe that Azusa will be free of dirty politics if it is Mr. Rocha's reach and or knowledge. I think it is too late to get bathrooms in the park but maybe the destruction of the City Hall Property can be stopped. I was shocked when I saw that the Mountain Cove district did not vote heavily for Mr. Rocha nor out of 1200 or so potential votes only 200 showed up!!!! Everyone in this community needs to get out, meet Mr. Rocha, learn the issues and VOTE!!!!! In my heart I know if you meet and talk with our new mayor , discuss the future of Azusa and his vision, you will get out and vote at the next election. Lets be a positive force. Again, congratulations!!!!
