Something is in my back yard... can anyone identify these droppings? I'm thinking raccoon.

Maybe a rabbit? I would say a deer; but deer are not likely to be able to enter your yard.

Are there some kind of berries in it, as it appears from the photo? I'd be thinking bear. Seriously.

My guess is a possum. Had one in our back yard not too long ago.

Hi folks, It's definitely not a bear - it doesn't have the same properties as one might find with bear discards. It's probably not a rabbit - unless the rabbit's been hanging around some nuclear power plant. I tend to agree with Athena as this is a very common animal in our neighborhood. You've got to admit, folks, this is a precious thread. Glad to be a part of it.

Dear Morecowbell,
When I read this post and somebody said rabbit, I thought what in the hell kind of rabbit has this person been seeing, then I came to your post, that was great what you said about the rabbit, we are still laughing about it. Thanks for the good laugh.
I would also say deer, but not really sure, if is a rabbit,it going to be huge. So don't carry any carrots.
