Azusa district salutes scholars
AZUSA - The Azusa Unified School District board recently honored students who met the Local Context Eligibility for the University of California.
These students are in the top 4 percent of their class and have completed a minimum of 11 specific courses. They are guaranteed admittance to one of the UC campuses.
The Azusa High School students are: Emily Alvarado, Adriana Campos, Luis Correa, Maribel Cortes, Brittany Knotts, Novabtyo Komintas, Mohit Lama, Amber Moutray, Sharon Perez, Sade Spence, Sharifa Spence and Norver Trinidad.
Gladstone High School students are: Cheryl Agustin, Vikki Flores, Pierre Garcia, Jasmin Madrigal, Lorraine Marchan, Leopoldo Mondragon, Nicole Pelais, Philip Petersen, Martin Phan, Katherine Pollock, Johnny Thai, Angelica Vargas and Juan Villagomez.
